Scope/Purpose of the Position The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the production lines at Bakerly Ranch are running safely and functioning optimally by troubleshooting and quickly resolving maintenance issues that arise. This includes oversight, documentation, repair, and maintenance completed with the highest safety, quality, and GMP standards. The Maintenance Technician will focus on machine maintenance to include performing preventative maintenance and repairing equipment as well as contributing to automation and controls maintenance projects as a critical member of the Maintenance Department. This opening is for the 3rd shift. Major Responsibilities and Essential Functions Plan, perform, and execute line maintenance activities and communicate changes impacting the plant and production. Perform all tasks and duties necessary for efficient start-ups, daily operation, change-over, and shut-downs, documentation, repair, and maintenance completed with the highest safety, quality, and GMP standards. Lead and support maintenance team during production line stop or major intervention. Proactively and properly troubleshoot, repair, and adjust production equipment at Bakerly Ranch. Contribute to or complete the installation and training on new machinery. Perform preventative and repair equipment on production equipment, heating and cooling systems, ingredients handling systems and plumbing systems, and assist with plant facilities. Utilize the CMMS (Manager Plus) system for creating, updating, and completing workorders. Start machines and equipment to test operation during and following repair. Document preventative maintenance tasks, complete work orders, and answer maintenance calls in a timely manner. Work with other departments on root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to help drive efficiency and yield. Work directly with machine operators and production supervisors to resolve mechanical issues that arise during production. Maintain neat and orderly work area and properly maintain tools. Performing sanitary welding on equipment and food processing piping. Adhere to safety policies and procedures and all OSHA requirements. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Assist in training production operators on proper equipment operation. Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Interpret electrical schematics to properly troubleshoot equipment. Develop and maintain quality and food safety standards. Requirements: Job Qualification Requirements 2 years of experience performing diverse maintenance in a manufacturing environment. Experience in food processing industry is a plus. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point. Ability to communicate with production operators and other maintenance technicians to be able to explain mechanical processes and root causes. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly using proper lifting techniques. Good problem-solving skills and result oriented. Ability to lead by example using Personal Protective Equipment, abide to assigned work schedule, and basic knowledge of FDA and OSHA regulations. Description: Scope/Purpose of the Position The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the completion or delegation of all maintenance activities at Bakerly Ranch, leading the team to continued success through leadership and communicating clearly all maintenance objectives to the management team. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the Maintenance Team to install, repair, and maintain Bakerly facilities, equipment, and machinery to ensure that the facility is safe and running efficiently. This includes developing and implementing a detailed preventive maintenance master plan and overseeing accurate maintenance and effective repairs by the maintenance teams. This role will work to continuously enhance and repair all plant equipment while maintaining the highest safety, quality, cost, and GMP standards in a high-speed manufacturing environment. Major Responsibilities and Essential Functions Responsible for the completion or delegation of all maintenance activities at Bakerly Ranch while leading the team to continued success at Bakerly Ranch.
