Overview: This role primarily consists of processing invoices and processing payment as well as maintaining open communication with vendors regarding their payments. The ideal candidate is deadline-driven, exhibits strong multitasking abilities, and is an independent achiever. This person must be a team player. Essential Duties: Monitor incoming emails for invoices and vendor inquiries Review and verify invoices for accuracy and process for approvals Schedule and coordinate payments to vendors in a timely manner Resolve any issues related to invoices/payments promptly Process bi-weekly check requests for divisions Process utility bills for active projects Process employee expense report reimbursements Assist with entering back charges into system and run necessary reports Help maintain invoice systems and databases for accurate record keeping Education and Additional Requirements: Moderate Excel experience Ideally 2-3 years AP experience in the construction industry Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Problem solving skills Team Player Able to meet deadlines Newstar experience a plus Why Work for Trumark?: Collaborate with a team that values you! The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting the Accounting Department in areas associated with month-end close, reconciliations, cash receipts, and treasury. The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel. Essential Duties: Active in the day-to-day accounting activity, including journal entries and reconciliations Reconcile daily cash balances from our financial institutions to our general ledger Prepare daily check deposits and record corresponding journal entries Facilitate banking administration including but not limited to online banking portal administration, new account openings, closing accounts and correspondence with the banks Maintain the fixed asset ledger, including additions, disposals, and depreciation entries Review daily positive pay exceptions within our financial institutions Assist with company credit card coding and associated journal entries Special projects, as assigned Education and Additional Requirements: 3+ Years of relevant accounting experience required Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting or related field preferred Homebuilding/construction experience preferred but not required Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables, are required Excellent interpersonal, writing and communication skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Why Work for Trumark?
