All deliveries will be performed at Northwestern Huntley Hospital, which is a 128-bed facility and a Level 2 trauma center with a Level 2 NICU. The family birthing center includes 20 patient beds with 2 ORs. Babies below 32 weeks are transferred out. There is 24-hour OB hospitalist coverage to handle emergencies. Schedule and volumes: 4-day work week 1 OR day (flexibility for full OR day or two half days) averaging 20 patients per clinical day and 8-10 deliveries per month with a case mix including 50% OB vs 50% GYN. Deliveries will be performed at the Northwestern Huntley Hospital. GYN surgeries will be performed at the new Crystal Lake Hospital (not deliveries).
