Employment Type: Full time Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift Description: Reporting to the Practice Coordinator, Cath Lab, the Registered Nurse (Level I, II, III or IV) is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process. The Registered Nurse, after appropriate educational preparation, is capable of expanding the scope of practice in general or specialty areas of nursing. The criteria and specific job duties of the three levels are defined by each department area specific criteria. Requirements 1Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California is required. 2. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required. 3. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within one year of hire into position. 4. Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: SUMMARY Reporting to the Director Telemetry & Cardiovascular Services, Nursing Service Admin, this position has twenty-four hour accountability for managing all aspects of patient care in the assigned area(s), coordinating the level of care with identified patient needs, providing clinical and material support to staff, and ensuring continual quality improvement and fiscal accountability. REQUIREMENTS 1. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California is required. Clinical professionals currently licensed outside the State of California will be provided six (6) months from date of hire to obtain equivalent California state licensure. 2. Bachelor's Degree is required. Three years of Nursing Leadership experience may substitute for the Bachelor's Degree requirement. 3. Minimum of three years nursing experience is required. If Nursing Leadership experience is in lieu of degree, must have additional 3 years' experience. 4. Two years of management experience is preferred. 5. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and health care personnel and an ability to lead, direct, and mentor personnel is required. 6. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required. Employment Type: Full time Shift: Night Shift Description: Night Shift Reporting to the Manager, Imaging Services, Radiology Administration, this position is responsible for performing CT procedures, providing patient care and physician assistance during the performance of those procedures. Requirements 1. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. 2. Graduate of an accredited program of Radiologic Technology is required. 3. Valid California Radiology Tech (CRT) certification from the State of California is required. 4. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required. 5. American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R) is required; advanced ARRT certification in (CT) also is required. 6. Proof of venipuncture certification is required. Venipuncture competency must also be demonstrated and documented by the supervisor or his/her proxy within thirty (30) days of hire or transfer into position. 7. Recent experience in CT is required, experience in an acute care setting is preferred. 8. Ability to operate all CT equipment and perform all CT examinations independently (e.g., be able to protocol them or work in conjunction with the radiologist) is required. 9. Must be seen as a resource throughout SAMC and be willing to actively participate on Hospital/Department committees as assigned. 10. Ability to relate in a professional manner to patients, physicians, the public and other health care providers and demonstrate excellent customer service orientation is required.
