Join an employed group consisting of 11 physicians and 20+ CRNA s that provide coverage at Mount Nittany Medical Center, a 260-bed acute care facility in State College, PA. Community based medicine is a plus! The physician will be provided a robust recruitment package. The Position: Pain Management Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations. Provide evidence-informed medical and/or interventional pain management to patients based on appropriate clinical indication and meet high standards of care. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, MRIs, and laboratory studies, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. Utilize fluoroscopy or ultrasound to perform most interventions. Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals. Participate in collaborative care with other providers and support the services available for multidisciplinary interventional pain management. Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education activities to stay abreast of advancements in pain management techniques and best practices. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and practice protocolsn in a timely and professional manner.
