REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum of 2 years' fire sprinkler pipe fitting experience. • Commercial Construction Experience preferred. • Must know how to read drawings. • Can run, layout, measure, thread and cut pipe. • Knowledge of Fire Sprinkler Systems installation methods. • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. ADDITIONAL PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS • Knowledge of Fire Sprinkler System Design • Understands Fire Sprinkler Code • Must work in an efficient manner with little supervision. • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license in accordance with Company guidelines. Up to a $5,000 Sign-On-Bonus based on experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Oversee all fire sprinkler projects. • Manage job cost and project scheduling. • Work with designers to get designs completed and submitted including job surveys. • Follow up and manage permits for projects. • Report weekly to the GM with project updates. • Oversee the Fire Sprinkler superintendent. • Coordinate and process contract job change orders. • Understand design & Layout of Fire Sprinkler Systems • Coordination for installation between trades • Managing cost and understanding budgets REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: • General Sprinkler knowledge • Experience in Fire Sprinkler Installation or Design • Excellent verbal and written communication skills SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES • Oversee installation labor on assigned projects. Job Responsibilities As Fire Sprinkler Installer/Fitter, you will perform the installation of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems. You will maintain proper documentation for work performed and must adhere to company safety policies and procedures. In this position you will provide verbal and written instructions to apprentices. You will carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs. Job Requirements: • Fire Sprinkler installation experience required • Self-starter that can work with little or no supervision • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude • Capable of performing physical labor • Possess excellent communication skills Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. The Fire Sprinkler Project Manager coordinates the delivery of the project with the General Contractor, AHJ, design personnel, technical personnel and any associated sub-contractors of other trades. Job Summary: This position is a local Project Management position that reports to Operations Manager. The Fire Sprinkler Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful completion of assigned projects, ensuring the technical and administrative personnel execute assigned and required responsibilities. The Fire Sprinkler Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for the management of multiple projects inclusive of assisting in all steps from design preparation through final completion and acceptance by the AHJ. Job Responsibilities: • Assist in design coordination, material listing and procurement, equipment procurement, and schedules. • Monitor project progress; prepare monthly reports analyzing the accuracy of the budget, schedule, cash flow and manpower forecasts. • Coordinate the production of construction documents for permitting with design team and AHJ as necessary. • Travel to project sites as needed to determine project status, scope and/or schedule. • Coordinate material release and delivery requirements. • Manage and schedule Systems Technician(s) and field personnel. • Coordinate final inspections with AHJ and all supporting trades. • Prepare project change orders. • Identify opportunities for improved cost-management, revenue growth and quality. Job Requirements: • Possess any necessary licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes. • Minimum 3 years related operational and/or project management experience either in the fire protection industry or the commercial customer service business. • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and the coordination of manpower and resources. • Competency with the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn the Company's information systems applications. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Strong work ethic and professional appearance. • The ability to fit in with our culture of teamwork. • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements. • Willingness to travel out of town including overnight lodging. • Demonstrate a high level of customer service. • Self-starter that can work with little to no supervision. • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly. • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements. In addition to the above, the most desirable candidate will have: • A four-year college degree in management or business administration or comparable experience • Industry licensing or certification of competency with fire alarms and commercial sprinkler systems Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
