Overview: Be the first line of safety and service in a fast paced park environment where no two days are the same. This role combines proactive security, emergency response, and exceptional guest interaction-protecting people and property while ensuring a welcoming, orderly, and memorable experience for everyone. From patrols and access control to incident response and guest assistance, you'll play a critical role in keeping the park safe, fun, and running smoothly. Responsibilities: Interact with guests providing directions and assistance Protect employees, guests, and company property Enforce park policies Control park access, checking vehicle permits and scanning ID badges for team members, vendors, and contractors Patrol and inspect assigned areas of the park Keep unauthorized personnel out of restricted areas Greet and screen guests entering through metal detection and check their bags for prohibited items Rapidly respond to active alarms, first aid, and other emergency situations Monitor all areas for safety hazards, including fire, theft, and vandalism Maintain ride queue lines, sending line jumpers to the back to ensure an efficient boarding process Write detailed reports of damage, incident logs, and security records Apprehend violators, including on-foot pursuits when necessary Escort guests and team members as needed for assistance and protection Qualifications: Must be 18 years or older Able to lift, carry, and balance heavy loads Physical qualifications to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout your shift Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays A valid driver's license A valid guard card

Overview:undefined Responsibilities: Follow all policies and procedures of Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Concord and the Maintenance Department. Adhere to all federal and state guidelines, regulations, and laws. Perform regular mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs and preventative maintenance. Ensures proper use of machines, tools and equipment, and ensures that the employees are properly instructed and trained on the safe use of tools and equipment used while performing work, and that personal protective equipment is used in accordance Performs frequent daily site inspections of ongoing work and review of upcoming work. Checks Park areas frequently for any needed repairs and maintenance. Conduct rounds of all filtration areas to inspect pumps Basic water testing using correct lab practices and procedures. Use computers for communication, chemical monitoring/operation, reference, and reports/logs. Keep records and inventory. Participate in the inter- and intra-departmental cross training program. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Prior experience as a Ride Mechanic, Water Quality Technician or the equivalent experience. Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent. Must possess a valid driver's license. Excellent organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills are critical for success. A working knowledge of Federal, State and other regulatory agencies rules and regulations are vital to success Proven ability to meet deadlines. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and be capable of bending, squatting and kneeling. A working knowledge of the operation of hand and power tools, heavy equipment, etc., with the proven ability to train others on the safe usage of equipment is critical to success Proven ability work outdoors in all-weather condition and in muddy, dusty, wet and dirty conditions. Responsibilities: Ensures the park and all ride areas are clean and presentable to guests Tests equipment prior to opening the ride Observes and assists with loading and unloading of guests safely in and out of rides Delivers CPR, AR, spinal immobilization, and other first-aid procedures, as needed Records hourly ride capacity readings and determine totals Communicates, monitors, and enforces water park and lifeguard rules Address Guest Concerns as they arise in the assigned location. Ensure that Safety and Security Awareness are reinforced and practiced consistently Initiates emergency procedures when necessary Complies with and ensures safe ride operating procedures as outlined in the ride manual Must follow Six Flags policies and procedures at all times including Department of Labor Break and Meal Laws. Executes any other activities as requested by Aquatics Seasonal Leadership, Department Manager or Director Qualifications: Must be an Ellis and Associates Licensed Lifeguard or be able to obtain the proper certifications and complete the following: 24 hour training class Shallow Water - Swim a minimum distance of 50 yards (2 laps) in a comfortable position without resting, using freestyle or breast stroke Special Facilities - Swim a minimum distance of 200 yards (8 laps) in a comfortable position without resting, using freestyle or breast stroke Tread water without the use of your hands for 2mins. Retrieve a 10 lb. brick from a minimum of 5ft/6ft of water and bring to the surface of a pool. Available Days, Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays Must possess the physical and mental abilities to respond to situations quickly The ability to work indoors and outdoors and in all weather conditions The ability to stand, walk and run for periods of time, as well as bend, squat, kneel and stoop when needed Proven ability to read and write Must be comfortable working with and interacting with guests
