The position will support the development and implementation of global marketing strategies, conduct market research, manage the destination's brand image, create marketing campaigns, and build partnerships with stakeholders in the tourism and hospitality industry. LOCATION & SCHEDULE: Full-time, ExemptThis position currently involves a hybrid working model with 2 days remote and 3 days in-office in Detroit, MI. WHAT WE REQUIRE: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, International Business, or related field4-6 years of experience in marketing, international marketing, or destination tourism marketingProven success in developing and executing marketing strategiesStrong understanding of global travel markets and cultural nuancesProficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platformsWillingness and ability to travel internationallyValid, unrestricted Michigan driver's license. Valid, unrestricted passport; necessary for overseas travel. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES: Strong foundation in marketing principles, strategies, and best practices, with a focus on international marketing and cultural considerations. Knowledge of international market research methods, consumer behavior trends, and marketing analytics, with the ability to interpret data and provide recommendations. Understanding of brand management principles and the ability to adapt marketing messages and materials for diverse international audiences while maintaining brand consistency. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external agencies, and international tourism industry partners to support marketing initiatives and destination awareness efforts.
