Position Description: Quality Inspector-DQR will perform Final inspection, in-process and 1st article inspections, evaluate part to print specifications and understand the inspection methods used for inspection and support the manufacturing process and personnel, while adhering to the Quality Policy, AS 9100 requirements. Essential Responsibilities: Strong blueprint and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) comprehension Proficient in the use of inspection tools, such as micrometer, indicators, comparator, etc. Detailed to complete all paperwork, as required, including inspection reports. Able to make mold casts to check ID dimensions. Can identify dimensional and visual defects. Accuracy and attention to detail is highly important. Experienced with completing 1st article inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections. Must have strong knowledge of aerospace specifications and requirements, particularly Pratt and Whitney Perform other duties as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field or a minimum of three years related experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Document audit findings clearly and accurately, identifying non-conformities, risks, and improvement opportunities. Prepare formal, detailed audit reports and present results to leadership. Collaborate with process owners to determine effective corrective actions and monitor timely implementation.
