Fit and assemble parts into complete assembly. Install machined replacement parts in mechanisms, machines, and equipment, and test operation of unit to ensure functionality and performance. Develop specifications from general description and draw sketch or part or product to be fabricated. Confer with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems. This can range from giving first aid treatment, coordinating emergency services, cleaning up chemical or biohazardous spills, etc. First point of contact for any onsite emergency.
