Summary The Tire Freight Handler is responsible for manually loading and/or unloading and stacking tires from/to containers and trailers onto pallets and moving pallets using a manual pallet jack. Roles and Responsibilities Manually stack tires into or onto containers, trailers or pallets. Utilize proper tire stacking procedures to ensure tires are stacked in a safe, secure and stable manner. Properly sort tires before loading or unloading per paperwork specifications. Verify correct and suitable trailers are used per paperwork specifications. Accurately provide tire counts by correctly filling out proper paperwork. Execute assigned unload/loading production schedule as assigned by supervisor/site management. Adheres to all corporate and site specific policies/procedures, safety rules, and OSHA/MSDS standards. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards Ability to read, understand and follow instructions, and to code applicable documents Safety: Observe and follow health and safety regulations Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
