This includes maintaining lodging property cash sheet, participating in daily cash sheet rotation, reviewing lodging cash sheet for accuracy of postings, and researching, correcting, and/or explaining any questionable transactions. Responsible for scheduling and payroll. Acts as Manager on Duty when the Front Office Manager is off property, ensuring all hotel operations run smoothly. Acts as a liaison between the hotel and Taos Ski Valley's reservations and sales departments. Reviews hotel inventory on a daily/weekly basis. Is aware of hotel occupancy at least one month out. Responsible for The Shop inventory and orders supplies as needed. Communicates with other managers, as applicable, any need period, sell-out or over-sold dates, special requests, VIP arrivals, etc. Addresses with revenue manager any oversold issues. Provides guidance to reservations & sales on availability of inventory for group blocks. Functions as a Guest Reception Agent, Bell/Valet, Phone Operator, Concierge, and/or Night Auditor whenever business levels require. Physical Demands of Position Include: Frequently lifting up to 10-25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50-75 pounds. Sitting approximately 30-40% of the time. Walking, reaching and bending approximately 30-40% of the time. This position requires individuals to speak and hear as they interact with guests on a frequent basis. This position will require individuals to be out in winter conditions 10% of the time.
