Reports to: Operations Manager Position: Full time Schedule: up to 6 days per week, 12 hours per day Requirements: Job Summary: The Project Manager - Major Projects: Geotechnical Foundation will organize, manage, and plan complex civil engineering projects. The primary role of the Project Manager is to lead the project delivery team in achieving project goals and objectives through managing resources, identify and mitigating risk, and facilitating project solutions including the project scope, schedule, and budget from pre-construction through construction and project close-out. Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversees a team of Engineers, Superintendents, and field personnel to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications. Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints. Duties/Responsibilities: Develops project scope, goals, and deliverables to ensure project completion. Leads an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency. Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly. Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project. Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates. Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate). Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project. Acts as a liaison between company, clients, contractors, and vendors. Manages and supervises consultants, contractors, and other subject matter experts in the preparation of planning and construction documents, and in the implementation of the project. Communicates effectively with senior management, elected officials and their staff, stakeholders, and other public agencies. Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum 8 years' experience in special foundations/geotechnical foundations Experience at least 1 major project over $20M PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. The Surveyor will measure properties and land parcels to identify boundaries and similar physical characteristics related to the property. Duties for a predominantly construction site layout, for civil work and As-built survey of the same. Supervisory Responsibilities: · None Responsibilities of this Position: ·Ability to use Leica GS products. (GPS surveying) · Ability to survey points with offset lengths. · Export points into excel and send them by email. · Executes land surveys to establish legal boundaries of property. · Researches the area or assignment, including previous surveys and boundary lines. · Prepares and maintains data, charts, plots, records, documents, sketches, and reports related to land surveys. · Records all results, including dimensions of land or land features, location, contour, shape, and elevation. · Interprets survey data and calculates geodetic measurements to determine shapes, positions, and elevations of geomorphic and topographic features. · Uses geodetic and engineering instruments to establish fixed points. · Uses satellite-based global positioning systems (GPS), theodolites, levels, and transits to determine longitudes and latitudes of important boundaries and/or features in the survey area. · Collaborates with engineering and architectural staff, clients, and other invested individuals to review and coordinate findings. · Performs minor adjustments on surveying instruments to maintain accuracy. · Maintains knowledge and understanding of federal, state and local surveying laws; rules, regulations, and county ordinances; and policies, procedures, and best practices relative to land surveying. · Performs other related duties as assigned. We are looking to hire an experienced heavy equipment mechanic to inspect, service, and maintain our range of heavy-duty construction equipment. As a mechanic, you will be responsible, inspecting engines and equipment, carrying out services, conducting repairs, troubleshooting electric and hydraulic system and providing routine maintenance to the construction fleet. To ensure success as a heavy equipment mechanic, you should have proven experience working with heavy machinery, have an understanding of hydraulic and electric systems, and be able to troubleshoot issues in both workshop and out on the job site. Heavy Equipment Mechanic Responsibilities: Driving to the job site. Inspecting large drill rigs, high pressure pumps, slurry mix plants and other heavy equipment for proper performance. Diagnosing faults using computerized testing equipment. Trouble shooting hydraulic and electrical systems. Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts. Repairing damaged equipment parts. Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy-duty machines. Performing major repair work when necessary. Consulting with other mechanics. Reporting damaged or faulty equipment to management. Creating parts lists needed to repair equipment. Heavy Equipment Mechanic Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Certification as a heavy equipment mechanic. Proven work experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic. Understanding of computer testing technologies. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Extensive knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems. Capable of reading and understanding hydraulic and electrical schematics. Ability to work after-hours if required. Good communication skills.
