Job Description Position Summary This position requires competency in both housekeeping and laundry functions. Although normally assigned to one function, individuals in this job must be competent and willing to perform the duties of the other function as directed. Responsible for the cleanliness and proper sanitation of all resident apartments and common areas of the community. Performs detailed cleaning of residents rooms and prepares empty rooms for move- ins. Responsible for the laundering of linens, drapes, and resident personal clothing within the assigned area of service. Essential Duties Responsible for dusting and polishing furniture to include picture frames, mirrors and other items in the room. Washes and disinfects all countertops and sink areas according to specified procedures. Mops and disinfects bathrooms and floors; vacuums all carpeted areas. Responsible for refilling paper products and soap dispensers; empties trash. Vacuums and mops common areas, nursing stations, hallways, med rooms and utility rooms. Responsible for cleaning of common areas and public bathrooms on each unit. Performs detailed cleaning assignments as directed. Ensures washing and drying machines are in use consistently Collects, sorts, washes, dries, and folds resident personal clothing, including linens, rags, and mop heads. Delivers clean personal items to the appropriate resident. Other duties as assigned. Environmental Services Associate I Full-Time $19.00-$20.95 p/h Qualifications Basic Qualifications & Experience 3 -6 months experience in housekeeping and/or laundry procedures, preferably in a medical facility preferred. Ability to complete tasks from a checklist operation schedule. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language. Must possess excellent customer service skills. Working Conditions / Physical Requirements Moderate to heavy physical activity required by exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 45 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 22 pounds of force constantly. Constant standing, walking, and grasping. Frequent stooping and reaching above shoulder heights, occasional sitting, crawling, kneeling, and squatting. Frequent exposure to chemicals. May have exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases possible. Is subject to frequent interruptions. Interacts with residents, family members, visitors frequently. Job Description Position Summary Responsible for evaluating, developing, implementing, and coordinating resident admissions and marketing processes according to statutory, regulatory, and Community policies. Using a strong hospitality focus, implements various admission-generating activities including networking with potential referral sources, creating and maintaining relationships with community organizations, and coordinating regularly scheduled and special event planning Essential Duties Responsible for receiving inquiries regarding admission into the Community and organization and for dispensing information about the services and mission to relevant parties. Provides appropriate follow-up to inquiries made by prospective residents and families. May be directed to create and foster relationships within the outside community by calling on potential referral sources, by networking with local churches and their senior groups, and meeting with discharge planners, etc. As part of the sales team, is flexible in developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies to meet defined move-in objectives, census and sales goals. Also includes participation in event planning within the Community and external events. Coordinates and schedules admissions and in-house move-ins and move-outs with all related departments.Coordinates paperwork, records and files relating to current and prospective residents. With a professional and friendly approach, presents and explains admission packet to residents and family members. Ensures paperwork process is accurate and completed on a timely basis. Conducts tours of the Community as needed for all interested parties and potential residents. Coordinates assessment of potential admissions and communicates assessment result with relevant parties. Ensures timely admission of residents to maintain cash flow and census. Participates in surveys and other inspections made by authorized governmental agencies; is responsible for complying with statutory and regulatory standards. Leads and models collaborative and supportive behaviors between and among all Community teams, CLC business entities. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Basic Qualifications & Experience 1 - 3 years' experience in admissions and/or marketing preferably in a health care or senior services community Knowledge of a variety of insurance regulations including Medicare and Medicaid regulations. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience in Contact Management Software and Electronic Medical Records systems applicable to the job. Must possess excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language. Must possess excellent customer service skills. Must possess a valid driver's license, in good standing. Working Conditions / Physical Requirements Light physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently. Sits, stands, bends and moves intermittently during working hours. Is subject to frequent interruptions. Interacts with residents, family members, visitors frequently.
