Court Filings & Brief Prep: Handle electronic filings (E-filing) across Federal, State, and Bankruptcy courts. Create hyperlinks and briefs via Lexis/Westlaw and bookmark PDFs. Patent Prosecution & Litigation Support: Assist with phases of patent prosecution (USPTO, Information Disclosure Statements, prior art searches). Compile US and foreign patents/case law, organize exhibits, and prepare trial binders. Docketing & Case Management: Monitor court dockets, track strict deadlines, inform attorneys of required actions, and maintain legal files in chronological order. Administrative & Financial Support: Manage Outlook calendars, coordinate travel and restaurant reservations, answer phones, and handle attorney time entry and expense reporting via Aderant/Intapp . Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of dedicated law firm experience specializing in Patent and Litigation support. Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of legal tech tools is required, including: iManage (or similar DMS), Best Authority, CompareDocs/Litera, Intapp Time, Aderant, Nuance PDF, Zoom/Teams, and MS Office 365 . Skills: Exceptional administrative skills with a laser focus on accuracy and detail. Ability to multitask under pressure, prioritize a heavy workload, and work seamlessly both independently and within a team. Credentials: High School Diploma required (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred). Must hold a current Notary Public commission or be willing to acquire one within the first 6 months of employment. Flexibility: A professional demeanor with the flexibility to occasionally arrive early or stay late to meet critical trial deadlines.
