Provide effective communication with contractors and internal teams while delivering the highest level of customer service. Work well in a team environment. Must have excellent attendance, reliable transportation, and a strong work ethic. Successfully complete the ATSSA Flagger training course and company-sponsored Defensive Driver training. Willingness to travel statewide, with occasional overnight stays, and ability to work nights and weekends as required by projects. Must be available for a rotating on-call schedule. The Flagger is responsible for directing the flow of traffic around construction sites, road maintenance areas, and other work zones. This role involves setting up and taking down traffic control signs, cones, and barricades to ensure the safety of workers and the public. The Flagger uses hand signals, signs, and other traffic control devices to communicate with motorists and guide them safely through or around the work area. The position requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, and the capability to stand for extended periods.
