The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) administers general, regional and monitored anesthesia care for scheduled and emergency surgical and obstetrical procedures and perform anesthesia-related procedures. The CRNA evaluates, formulates, and carries out an anesthesia care plan including monitoring and recording patient reaction to anesthesia and modifying the anesthetic plan accordingly. Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana is seeking a full-time Assistant Director for their Family Medicine Residency Program to join seven (7) existing Family Physician faculty members. We are looking for a Family Physician who has strong teaching/leadership skills to provide outpatient and inpatient adult medical care/supervision (negotiable) with our family medicine residents and other attending physicians. Some highlights of the position are as follows: Three (3) half-days for a private practice; approx. 70% teaching, 30% private practice (negotiable). Other Duties: staffing outpatient clinics; one lecture per month If inpatient option chosen, Family Medicine service home call 1 weeknight every other week and every 8th weekend on average Predominantly a Medicaid population for the residents.
