Horace, ND 58047 _ Position Summary: The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and longevity of our sunflower seed roasting, seasoning, and packaging equipment. This role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of machinery and facility systems to maintain a high level of production efficiency and safety. Key Responsibilities (Other duties as assigned): Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on roasting, seasoning, and packaging machinery.Schedule and execute preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.Document maintenance activities and update maintenance logs. Troubleshooting and Repairs: Quickly diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on production equipment.Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve equipment malfunctions and downtime.Ensure timely completion of repair tasks to minimize production interruptions. Equipment Optimization: Assess and recommend improvements to equipment performance and reliability.Implement modifications and upgrades to enhance production efficiency and quality. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company policies.Conduct safety inspections and report any hazards or unsafe conditions. Facility Maintenance: Perform general facility maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC system maintenance.Ensure cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.Provide detailed reports on maintenance issues and actions taken to the Maintenance Supervisor. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with production staff to understand equipment performance and address any issues.Communicate effectively with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Skills: Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Familiarity with industrial machinery and tools.Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting. Abilities: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Capability to lift and move heavy objects as required.Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call as needed. Working Conditions: Primarily based in a production facility with exposure to machinery, heat, and noise.Requires standing, bending, and physical exertion for extended periods.Occasional work in confined spaces and with hazardous materials, following all safety protocols. This role manages a team of National Account Managers, driving both retention and accelerated new customer acquisition. The Director owns national account strategy, pricing and profitability, customer planning, and disciplined commercial execution across assortment complexity, inventory availability, and customer review cycles. Success requires deep experience managing major accounts, strong analytical and pricing strategy capability, and proven cross functional and team leadership. Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer Leadership Lead national sales strategy for wild bird seed and poultry feed, aligning customer plans with category strategy, brand objectives, and P&L targets.Own senior level relationships with major retail partners and distributors; drive joint business planning, assortment, merchandising, and promotional execution.Build and convert a robust prospect pipeline to accelerate new business, incremental distribution, and program expansion.
