Must be able to interface proficiently with enterprise and shipping software for recording and distribution of materials Detail oriented requiring attention to quality specifications, inventory counts, invoices and other documentation while keeping accurate records Initiates warehouse activities with thorough knowledge of chain in relation to assembly procedures, description and special customer requirements Assembles loose pitches, connectors, etc., as needed to complete orders Receives, inputs, stores, and distributes raw materials with thorough knowledge of procedures, descriptions, and specific requirements for production processes and prepares product for shipment Proficient with the rigging and lifting of raw materials in a safe manner Follows applicable Safety, Health and Environmental rules and guidelines while performing job duties Maintains departmental housekeeping Other duties as assigned by supervisor Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered Proven computer and software aptitude 1-3 years' shipping and receiving experience. Knowledge and experience in driving electric forklift - sit-down only. Operation of electric pallet jack. General Responsibilities: Adheres to operational and personnel policies and procedures. Actively participate in Food Safety and Food Defense related activities. Perform additional duties as directed. Education & Experience: High school graduate or equivalent 2 years' experience in warehouse operations (order picking, shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks) Experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is a plus. Specific Competencies: Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to become forklift certified. Must be able to lift 60 pounds repeatedly. Ability to effectively communicate at all levels.
