Lead execution of team deliverables, organize team processes, and work with the team leads to plan and achieve Objectives & Key ResultsOwn cloud hosting and automating our infrastructure as well as improving of our deployment pipelines andservices.Owncloudinfrastructure, capacity planning, auto provisioning andsecurity.Drive engineering excellence by participating in code reviews, technical designs, and evangelizing software engineering bestpracticesBe a strong voice across engineeringorganization byuplifting engineering culture and improving engineering processes of the largerorganization.Grow the team by working with recruiting to identify and hire excellent and diverse engineering and leadershiptalent.Work with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Release Managersand developers to plan and prioritizework.Work with Development organization to support and drive ServiceNow Tools & Engineering Productivity visionWork closely with engineering and product leadership to set goals and landmarks to achieve that visionCollaborate with internal feature development teams to understand their challenges and problems; obsess about making engineers more productiveQualificationsTo be successful in this role you have:12+ Years experience with large-scale enterprise software and engineering productivityStrong experience with Infrastructure as Code and cannot imagine a world without it.Understand the importance of CI/CD in building high-performing teamsAbility to set the direction and lead a large team without a lot of oversight.Experience presenting your ideas to influence other key team members, including executives and other product and engineering leadersAbility to balance people management, cross-functional leadership, and technical detailsBe comfortable letting your tech leads take true ownership of projects while keeping enough of an eye on things to make sure the train stays on the trackYou know what makes a high performing team and have managed one yourselfHave familiarity with commonly used scriptinglanguagelike Python, Groovyetc.and beable to review others' code.Experience deploying to and managing Amazon Web Services at scaleExperience with container orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Technical expertise in data infrastructure, cloud compute, storage systems, and distributed compute frameworks in multi-petabyte scale systemsAble to motivate, instill a strong sense of ownership, and build a culture of accountability inteamAbility to operate effectively and autonomously across multipleteams andnavigate technical ambiguity with onlyhigh-leveldirectionOpenness to new or different ideas and ability to evaluate multiple approaches and choose the best one based on fundamental qualities and supportingdata.Additional InformationServiceNow is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
