Overview Program Analyst, Executive (PEOC3N): Bowhead seeks an Executive Program Analyst (PA) to provide support to the Project Manager, Tactical Network (TN) and Project Manager Mission Command (MC) from the Pentagon and Aberdeen Proving Ground as required. Qualifications Education/Experience • Four (4) year degree in a technology related field and: • Minimum of (6) years demonstrated experience specifically in IT, as well as in the areas of network administration and management. • Or 8 years plus experience specifically in IT with a similar role in lieu of a bachelor's degree. • Minimum of four (4) years demonstrated experience in managing networking systems, design of network systems, and LAN/WAN management required. • Minimum of four (4) years demonstrated experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls, with the demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex networks and phone systems. • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of multiple network and communications protocols including DHCP, VPN, routers, switches, Meraki, and firewalls. • Demonstrated excellence in network and data security practices and policies Network Operating System Support • One or more of the following current certifications are required: o Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher o Cisco Certified Technician (CCT) Routing & Switching o Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) o Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) o Network Segmentation and Access Control Lists o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) o Or other Cisco certifications o Experience in lieu of certifications would be considered. Must be able to support modernization efforts, that will include the following: • Cisco Catalyst 9300 Series Switches • Cisco Umbrella • Firewall Modernization (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet) • Network Segmentation • SD-WAN • Website Services (DNS, Domain, Sub-Domain) • Disaster Recovery (Active to Active Data Centers) OTHER QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to be able to resolve technical/complex questions regarding routers, access points, and switch configurations. Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, leadership and vendors effectively. Must be able to deliver excellent customer service, represent BluPeak well and have good work ethics and integrity. Great analytical skills and a high level of organization and prioritization as well as experience in solving network problems, defining, researching and development of complex systems with minimal supervision.
