A day in the life As a Controls Manager, your primary customers are Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO), whose operational performance depends on the quality and reliability of the Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) your team delivers and maintains. The problems you solve are organizational: ensuring your region has the right people, processes, and priorities to keep controls systems performing at scale. On a given day you might present operational metrics to senior leadership, coach a builder on their development plan, escalate a vendor performance issue, or approve a capital project proposal.
