Drains and cleans hot tubs, sanitizes steam and saunas, and chemical shocks pool per instruction. All duties are to be logged on the aquatics checklist. (PEOPLE) Supervises aquatics area to ensure members and guests have a safe and clean environment. Identifies unsafe conditions and resolves issues immediately. Reports and documents all incidents on incident reporting form. Ensures all lap swimmers, group exercise participants, patients, and other users have access to their respective activities. Resolves conflicts between members immediately and reports incidents to supervisor and MOD and logs issues accordingly. Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds in order to complete lifesaving and rescue techniques. Frequent lift and carry of 25 pounds. Requires frequent bending, stooping, reaching, feeling and handling. Must tolerate occasional to frequent horizontal reaching with both arms. Frequent grasping of both hands requiring normal grip strength based on national averages. Must tolerate prolonged exposure to high temperature and humidity and to biohazardous materials, including pool chemicals. May be exposed to blood or body fluids. IV.
