Organization Overview: The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) is an economic development entity of the federal government and 13 state governments focusing on 423 counties across the Appalachian Region. At least 3 years of experience in economic development and workforce development , with proven experience in providing programming, services, and technical assistance to recipients of workforce development programs to access programs to enter or renter the workforce. A successful candidate will understand workforce development barriers in rural areas and have vast knowledge of various programs (local, state, and federally funded) to address issues related to workforce participation. 2-3 years of proven experience in grant management, particularly throughout the life cycle of a grant (pre- and post-award) either as a grantee or as part of a grantmaking organization or agency. Zoo Miami Summary : Zoo Miami currently has one full-time Animal Care Specialist 1 (Zoo Miami Keeper 1) position available with our Australia Team. By transporting cargo and supplies, you'll play an integral role in keeping the Guard moving forward. In this role, you will operate all wheeled vehicles and equipment over various terrain and roadways; manage load, unload, and safety of personnel being transported; employ defense techniques; identify, correct, or report vehicle deficiencies; and prepare vehicles for movement/shipment by air, rail, or vessel.
