It is considered essential personal work and requires performing duties during/after severe weather and other emergencies. Duties include: Performing deep cleaning in assigned areas. Department: Medical Records Schedule/Status: 7:00am-3:30pm; Full Time Standard Hours/Week: 40 General Description: Reporting to the Director of Health Information Services, supervises and coordinates the Coding section of the Health Information Services Department. Performs coding, quality reviews, and acts as the liaison to medical staff members and ancillary department personnel, re: coding documentation and assignment. Key Responsibilities: Coordinates and manages the overall work flow of the coding area; prioritizing and disseminating work to employees and assigning projects as required. Will assist with performing physical exams, providing direct patient care including first aid and routine inquiries, ergonomic assessments, administering immunizations and vaccines, and assisting with other occupational health services as needed. Responsibilities: Performs portions of physical examination, e.g., weight, height, blood pressure, EKG, vision, hearing, cancer screening, etc. Administers emergency care for illnesses and injuries of both occupational and non-occupational origin.
