Greenfield Milling TITLE Miller Job Location Richmond, UT Position Type Full Time Education Level High School Salary Range $40.00 - $50.00 Hourly Travel Percentage None Description The Miller plays a central role in the milling process that is the core of our business. This position is critical for promoting safety, quality, milling efficiencies, and helping achieve the company's goals and objectives. This position serves as a plant leader that trains, mentors and supervises the milling team. This position will work shifts with patterns allowing for work-life-balance, which provide days off each week. Our schedule alternates with the weekend off. Miller Responsibilities: The Miller is the most qualified operator in the facility and is available to assist with grain transfer, grain cleaning, flour milling, flour transfer, feed loadout, bulk loadout, and packaging. The Miller is responsible for attendance, coaching, training and mentoring employees. The Miller is the shift lead and guides the work effort of the mill crew on their shift. Maximize milling efficiency in the plant daily by focusing on adjustment and operation of cleaning house and mill equipment. Troubleshoot equipment, optimize the mill flow sheet, and solve flow problems. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned including working on plant teams, providing input on capital projects, and center-lining. This position is critical for promoting safety, quality, milling efficiencies, and helping achieve the company's goals and objectives. This position serves as a plant leader that trains, mentors and supervises the milling team. This position will work shifts with patterns allowing for work-life-balance, which provide days off each week. Our schedule alternates with the weekend off. Miller Responsibilities: The Miller is the most qualified operator in the facility and is available to assist with grain transfer, grain cleaning, flour milling, flour transfer, feed loadout, bulk loadout, and packaging. The Miller is responsible for attendance, coaching, training and mentoring employees. The Miller is the shift lead and guides the work effort of the mill crew on their shift. Maximize milling efficiency in the plant daily by focusing on adjustment and operation of cleaning house and mill equipment. Troubleshoot equipment, optimize the mill flow sheet, and solve flow problems. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned including working on plant teams, providing input on capital projects, and center-lining. Areas of responsibilities are flour milling, wheat cleaning and tempering, record keeping, maintenance, sanitation, planning, coordinating, and communication. Perform sanitation duties as assigned, and ensure their team is focused on the critical areas of the mill that need sanitation efforts.
