Director, C4 Menace FoS Business Development, C2 Systems Washington, District of Columbia, United States Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century's most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril's family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years. Anduril's Command & Control Division is designing, developing, and deploying a next-generation, software-defined, hardware-enabled distributed C2 architecture, focused on orchestrating 3rd party sensors and strike-platforms across heterogeneous networks in support of time-sensitive operations. Multi-domain connected warfare of this nature requires communications and computing infrastructure capability that exceeds that of the hardware currently deployed to the tactical edge. To meet this need, Anduril developed the Mobile Edge Node-Agile Combat Employment, or "Menace", family of systems. Menace provides highly autonomous, tactical communications and computing infrastructure for the warfighter in several form factors ranging from "Menace-I", an autonomous 20 foot C2 shipping container, "Menace-X" a highly mobile MRZR or Infantry Squad Vehicle (ISV) optimized for C2 & Joint Fires "On The Move", "Menace-T" a tailorable, ruggedized compute and communications system, as well as advanced compute and communications systems worn by the warfighter. WHAT YOU'LL DO Build a cohesive strategy to seed, operate, test & evaluate, and then expand the Menace family of systems where the service's current tactical communications & compute infrastructure fails to effectively support the advanced C2 required in a multi-domain, highly autonomous, machine-to-machine world of time sensitive targeting. Continuously evolve a strategy that will transition initial seeding opportunities for Menace into more strategic incorporation into service programs of record over time. Serve as the senior Menace FoS leader within the C2 division and lead large capture campaigns against Program Executive Offices (PEO) within each service and across senior service leadership. Serve as the senior Menace FoS leader in support of program capture efforts within the C2 Division where Menace is a critical part of a larger C2 solution. Develop effective working relationships with critical stakeholders across each service to identify opportunities for, proactively communicate and resolve program issues, and provide strategic direction to program teams across operations, engineering, and manufacturing. Foster a culture of trust, open communications, customer focus, innovation, and continuous improvement. Lead initiatives that move the organization forward, contributing to business and financial performance in a material and meaningful manner. Deliver on financial performance commitments and build strategic market growth initiatives. QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate will be a proven growth leader who has demonstrated experience in shaping and capturing DoD business opportunities in ACAT I or ACAT II programs, both hardware and software. Intimate understanding of government contracting, fielding, requirements generation, and budgeting for the purposes of transitioning prototype capabilities to production. Experience in the technical, programmatic, and operational challenges of deploying warfighting C2 capabilities at the tactical edge in a Denied, Degraded, Intermittent, Low-bandwidth (DDIL) environment. A leader who can build, adapt, and implement new and innovative approaches to market. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial, and creative environment. Ability to identify, establish and use important customer relationships with senior level officials and program stakeholders within defense and intelligence community to drive capability adoption. Demonstrated high-energy leader who will drive performance and exhibit strong management skills with a high level of emotional intelligence. Excellent writing and communication skills with experience briefing senior executives and customers. Preferred candidate is based out of Washington, DC. Demonstrated knowledge in defense acquisitions, with a history of zero-to-one defense program growth in the DoD a plus. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Must possess and be able to maintain a U.S. TS/SCI Security clearance. Must be willing to travel up to 35%. Minimum of 10 years of relevant Program Management, acquisitions, business development/sales capture experience in the government and/or private sector.
