Summary: Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are part of a team who provide community-based support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Activities may include but are not limited to yoga, pottery, cooking, music, volunteering, and physical fitness. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Always ensure the health and safety of members. Provide instructional support while assisting members with the implementation of their yearly individual service agreement while encouraging independence. Promote quality community connections for members while seeking and developing opportunities for new experiences and connections. Timely completion of all required paperwork (i.e.: email correspondence, daily notes, mileage logs, timecards, progress notes and incident reports).
