Position Summary:
Our business is growing! Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of an excellent team at our brand new 700k square foot facility in Alburtis, PA (Macungie, PA area). This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment. We are looking for warehouse workers to operate stand-up forklifts and hand-load/unload product, as needed. These are permanent (not seasonal) positions.

Schedules Available:
-Monday-Thursday, 3pm-1:30am, $19.00/hour base pay rate, $1.00/hour shift incentive, $20.00/hour total pay rate
-Monday-Thursday, 6pm-4:30am, $19.00/hour base pay rate, $1.00/hour shift incentive, $20.00/hour total pay rate
-Weekend Days (Friday-Monday or Thursday-Sunday), 6am-4:30pm, $19.00/hour base pay rate, $2.00/hour shift incentive, $21.00/hour total pay rate
-Weekend Nights (Thursday-Sunday), 6pm-4:30am, $19.00/hour base pay rate, $3.00/hour shift incentive, $22.00/hour total pay rate
Pay:
-$19.00/hour starting base wage
-Up to $3.00/hour for shift incentives
-Up to $320.00 per week in attendance and overtime-related incentives (Until further notice, we will pay those who work all scheduled shifts in a work week an attendance incentive.)
-$1,500 sign on bonus, $500 to be paid out after 31 days of hire, $500 to be paid out after 61 days of hire, and $500 to be paid out after 91 days of hire.
Major Responsibilities:
-Operate stand-up forklifts
-Hand-unload product as needed
-Electronically scan products using an electronic system
-Complete daily logs
-Maintain professional communications with all team-members to facilitate a positive environment
-Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs-Uses computer to enter records as needed
-Complete any other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
-Previous forklift experience preferred
-High school diploma or equivalent preferred
-Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
-Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
-Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required (where applicable by location)
-Flexible to work overtime preferred
-Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions required
-Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
-Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.

The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50ibs/23kg and occasionally life and/or move up to 100 lbs/45kg.
