Seeking 1 st and 2 nd shift workers for our open Maintenance and Laborer positions. All candidates welcome. We are looking for people with a great attitude and mechanical aptitude willing to learn maintenance in a quarry environment. Pay starts at $20hr.
Safely repair and maintain plant industrial equipment. This could include conveyor systems, shakers, gearboxes, or other plant equipment. May also be asked to maintain fixed plant equipment, and other mobile equipment as necessary. 2nd shift is 2pm-11pm.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all plant equipment often in out of position welding
- Maximizes performance of equipment by performing repairs and ensuring preventative maintenance is completed on a timely basis
- Performs fabrication, erection of processing equipment and repair to processing equipment and mobile equipment
- Completes daily pre and post inspection of working area
- Prioritizes SAFETY, then QUALITY, followed by PRODUCTION
- Will take an active role in the plant safety initiatives
- Ensure a safe work environment for self and others at all times
- Assist with training of co-workers as needed
- Participates in other tasks required by supervisor
Requirements
- Must be safety conscious, dependable, motivated, possess a positive attitude and work with others as a team
- Minimum of 1 year in welding and maintenance
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- HS Diploma or GED required
