Skills/Requirements SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Practices and follows all required safety regulations and familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations. Installs and/or repairs electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic and robotic equipment, machines, or systems. All work must be adjusted, assembled, or aligned to equipment manufacturer or Kohler Co. specifications. Able to do high level programming of PLC/Robot control In-depth knowledge of automation controls and robotics; prefer Allen Bradley and Fanuc Ability to troubleshoot and repair any PLC ladder logic issue including documentation Provides technical assistance in troubleshooting complex maintenance problems. Assists in developing and implementing ergonomic and process improvements in manufacturing to improve reliability and productivity. Strong mechanical, analytical, and solution driven skills Uses SAP Maintenance system to track Work Orders and order/track parts. Guides, instructs, and trains equipment operators in the operation, adjustment, and PM inspection of equipment used in producing ware. Read and interpret engineering blueprints. Critical Thinking:once a problem is identified, Industrial Technician should be able to deal with it critically. Participates in task team problem solving operations. Practices and follows all required safety regulations. Performs other duties as assigned by supervision. RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS Supervisory Relationships: Reports to Maintenance Team Leader Organization Relationships: Frequent contact with all levels of production and maintenance supervision to discuss systems and equipment malfunctions, scheduling of repairs and changes. Frequent contact with Purchasing to procure production and maintenance supplies, obtains estimates for new or replacement equipment. Periodic contact with Engineering in design and costing of new or changed system and equipment. External Business Relationships: Frequent contact with suppliers of equipment and maintenance supplies. Frequent contact with contractors and service representatives for system and equipment repair and replacement. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Must meet all the following: High School graduate.
