The hours for this position are 7:00a-5:30p (four 10-hour shifts/week). This position requires ARRT registry and Ohio Radiologic License. The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Cardiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. The technologist must have knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, hemodynamic monitoring, coronary and peripheral anatomy, and sterile technique. Responsibilities And Duties: 85% Radiologic technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventionalist in specific area as described above in summary for each area. 10% Greets patients upon arrival to department. Checks chart for required data (i.e., informed consent). Reports absences or abnormalities to RN/physician. Explains procedures, gives instructions, and answers patients' questions.
