Job Opportunity: Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Join a dedicated team in Charlotte, Michigan, providing essential anesthesia services in a well-equipped surgical setting. This facility boasts a fully staffed operating room with 20 surgical cases per day, serving a diverse patient demographic from pediatrics to geriatrics. With a strong commitment to patient care, you will work under the supervision of experienced anesthesiologists and utilize an advanced electronic medical record system (Epic) to streamline your practice.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide sporadic PRN coverage for anesthesia services.
- Administer anesthesia in a surgical setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and OR staff in a fully staffed operating room.
- Manage a varied caseload, including pediatric to geriatric patients.
- Familiarize yourself with the facility s EMR (Epic) system as required.
- Participate in necessary orientations and training sessions prior to starting.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Anesthesia.
- Experience working independently in anesthesia.
- Strong familiarity with Epic EMR or willingness to complete training.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a level 4 trauma center.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Michigan RN license (not accepting IMLC or Compact).
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
- Self-query NPDB to be pulled within the month of presentation.
- Proof of COVID vaccination.
