Experience: 1 to 2 years culinary experience preferred; luxury hotel/restaurant experience strongly preferred.
Education: Culinary degree/certification preferred.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Job Description:
- Prepare food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events.
- Produce sauces, stocks, and hot line items using established recipes.
- Maintain consistent, high-quality food production and plating standards.
- Ensure proper food storage, labeling, rotation, and daily icing of fish.
- Operate standard kitchen equipment (ovens, fryers, mixers, steamers, etc.).
- Maintain clean and safe work areas following sanitation procedures.
- Assist higher-level cooks and chefs with prep and service execution.
- Set up, break down, and clean assigned culinary stations.
Position Requirements:
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently in fast-paced service periods.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; basic math skills.
- Food safety certification.
- Negative TB test.
- Ability to meet physical demands such as standing, lifting, bending, and working indoors/outdoors.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Respect and appreciation for Hawaiian values, culture, and community.
