This technology is suitable in many industries, such as medical, electronics, food and automotive. Job profile

Develop and implement ultrasonic welding application solutions for the METALS business unit within defined focus areas using existing knowledge and exploring innovative solutions. Defined focus markets include automotive wiring and power distribution, battery electric vehicle architecture, renewable energy storage, aerospace, and consumer products.

Create basic CAD designs for prototype fixtures and customer proposals to support the order-winning process. Lead the implementation of these designs and investigate their effect on the application with hands-on technical testing and participation. Work with the design team to make recommendations for high volume manufacturing solutions in manual and automated production environments.

Collaborate with internal colleagues, including sales, production and service, and external customers, to ensure seamless communication throughout order fulfillment.

Provide hands-on technical support for customer applications, testing, and troubleshooting.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and technologies within the METALS business unit.


Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of hands-on technical experience
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field experience
  • Basic to intermediate CAD design skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a self-starter and can-do attitude.
  • Willingness to use your hands and apply creative solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS-Office (Excel, PP, Word, Teams)
  • Salesforce or CRM experience is a plus
