Annual Salary around $100k-$140k, varying depending on years of experience


We re seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join a growing orthopedic spine team across two clinical sites in northern New Jersey. This is a full-time opportunity for a motivated NP/PA who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional spine care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre- and post-operative assessments and follow-ups
  • Interpret imaging studies and formulate evidence-based treatment plans
  • Educate patients and families on spine conditions and care pathways
  • Assist in surgical procedures (1 day/week after training)
  • Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct evaluations, interpret imaging (X-rays, MRIs, CTs), and develop individualized care plans for patients with spine-related conditions.
  • Assist in the operating room and provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care.
  • Rotate between two clinical locations to ensure continuity of care and team integration.
  • Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and procedures to patients and their families.
  • Work closely with spine surgeons, pain specialists, and rehabilitation professionals to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.


Requirements:

  • Active New Jersey NP/PA license (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Experience in orthopedic or spine care preferred, but recent graduates with relevant rotations are encouraged to apply.
  • Comfortable interpreting diagnostic imaging and applying findings to treatment planning.
  • Willingness to first-assist in spine surgeries (training provided).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to explain complex medical information with clarity and empathy.
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to patient-centered care.
