Work with Progression, Inc. get your application bumped to the front of the line Sheet Metal Worker St. Inigoes, MD Pay From: $80,000 Per Year MUST: Experienced Sheet Metal Worker 3+ Years Of Experience Must have experience operating CNC press brakes, shears, laser/waterjet cutters, and other shop machinery Must possess a valid Maryland Driver's License Expertise with precision hand tools and measuring instruments Ability to interpret engineering drawings, plans, and project requirements Capable of leading a fabrication team on project efforts to meet cost, schedule, and technical specifications as per approved engineering design Capable of developing modifications to satisfy project requirements without jeopardizing safety of operations Secret Clearance DUTIES: Perform as a member of a project work team on project article preparations, modifications, assembly, setup, and teardown using fabrication shop machinery, sheet metal fabrication, and mechanical assembly operations to accomplish project requirements according to approved design tolerances. Perform precision sheet-metal fabrication for modifications to, or manufacturing of, unique equipment, systems, and structures. Perform inspection and acceptance checks at project milestones and upon completion of project assignments to ensure technical adequacy. Fabricate unconventional, one-of-a-kind items, systems, apparatus, and structures in support of experimental project articles. Plan and conduct work from blueprints, drawings, plans, and/or technical publications. Perform maintenance, repair, and updates on specialized equipment and systems unique to WOLF operations.
