Orthopaedic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA-C / NP)
Location: Coos Bay, Oregon 97420
Join a highly respected Orthopaedic Surgery team at a leading medical centre on Oregon s beautiful South Coast! In this hands-on locum opportunity, you ll collaborate closely with the attending physician and play a vital role in patient care from hospital rounds to assisting in surgery.

Key Responsibilities: Record and review patient histories, develop and implement plans of care
Perform diagnostic studies (EMG, EKG, MRI, CT, etc.)
Conduct procedures including wound care, digital blocks, tendon repair, and fracture management
First-assist in surgeries (tissue closures, brace/cast applications, etc.)
Provide orthopedic call coverage (weekday, weekend, and 24-hour rotation)
Participate in daily rounds, documentation, and quality initiatives
Board Certified Required
Active Oregon License Required
Full-time availability & ASAP start Required
Proficient in EPIC EMR (4-hour unpaid training, testing out available in 2 hours)
- Work Week: Sunday Saturday
- Overtime: After 40 hours/week
- Lodging: Provided and coordinated
- Call: Shared rotation with other PAs/NPs (includes weekends/holidays)
- Start Date: ASAP
