Job Purpose: We are seeking a hands-on Semiconductor Packaging Engineer to work for a High-Tech Semiconductor Manufacturer in the Tucson, Area. The program will be supporting the sustainment EP-3E aircraft and development of P-8A Poseidon manned reconnaissance aircraft for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms in support of Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA) Airborne Multi Intelligence Special Missions (AMISM) Program Office (PMA-290) in support of the warfighters mission. Required Skills and Experience: Responsible for preparing and monitoring repair and maintenance projects in support of customer operations, maintenance. Perform Electrical engineering power systems analysis calculations including, load calculation coordination, short circuit and arc flash. Designs and provides guidance in the installation, operation and maintenance of power generation/distribution/grounding systems and supported sites. Provides guidance for the mitigation of electromagnetic interference from and carried by electrical and power distribution systems. Reviews design specifications for facilities, and mission and support systems to verify technical correctness and compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Prepares designs, specifications and procedures for the installation, integration and maintenance of aviation electrical equipment and systems. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
