CNC Set-Up Technician Location: Kirkwood, MO Pay Range: $25-$30/hr, depending on experience (DOE) Schedule: Full-Time Position Summary: The CNC Set-Up Technician at our valued client located in Kirkwood, MO is responsible for advanced set-up, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC equipment including mills and lathes. This position requires deep technical expertise and the ability to immediately contribute with minimal training. The technician is expected to create, manage, optimize, and maintain CNC program files in both G-code and Mazatrol software. Collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering and involvement in prototype part machining and creation are critical parts of this role. Key Responsibilities: p :pt-0 &>p :mb-2 &>p :my-0"> Set up, operate, and troubleshoot all CNC mills and lathes with minimal supervision or training needed. p :pt-0 &>p :mb-2 &>p :my-0"> Diagnose and repair technical issues on CNC equipment, addressing mechanical, electrical, and software-related problems. p :pt-0 &>p :mb-2 &>p :my-0"> Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs using both G-code and Mazatrol for new and existing projects. p :pt-0 &>p :mb-2 &>p :my-0"> Maintain a library of program files, ensuring accurate documentation and revision control. p :pt-0 &>p :mb-2 &>p :my-0"> Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering to refine machining processes and improve efficiency. p :pt-0 &>p :mb-2 &>p :my-0"> Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents. p :pt-0 &>p :mb-2 &>p :my-0"> Machine prototype parts and support new product development projects as directed. p :pt-0 &>p :mb-2 &>p :my-0"> Perform precise measurements using micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools. p :pt-0 &>p :mb-2 &>p :my-0"> Ensure all machines are operated and maintained in a safe and efficient manner. p :pt-0 &>p :mb-2 &>p :my-0"> Train and mentor less experienced operators or machinists as required.
