Production Artist

Location: Norwalk, ConnecticutJob Type: Contract to PermCompensation Range: $30 - 35 per hourOur client is seeking a temp-to-hire Production Artist to work fully onsite at their Norwalk, CT office. The production artist collaborates with internal marketing department team members to create, edit and release a high-volume of direct mail projects for monthly mail campaigns. Under the supervision of the Director of Creative Services, this role interacts directly with a variety of individuals across departments. Superior attention to detail, strong production skills, knowledge of print production and best practices for digital mechanical file set-up are keys to the success of this position. Responsibilities:Work closely with internal teams including Print Production and Campaign Management to execute design projects under tight deadlines.Create, review, edit and proof a high volume of partner collateral, while maintaining above-average accuracy and brand/file integrity.Respond quickly to high priority requests while maintaining production and design standards.Stay up-to-date with design software tools.Assist other designers as needed in order to ensure tight deadlines are met.Prepare InDesign files for digital and offset printing.
