Actively monitor trainee progress, provide feedback and arrange additional training for employees as needed. Complete Leadership Standard Work requirements. Supervise and critique change overs and reduce the time by making sure the operators are planning their change over ahead of time. Maintain staffing for the department and arrange coverage when needed. Must monitor and maintain ERP, SSFD Operating system to show data of machines. Set the example for the shift to follow in areas such as attitude, sense of urgency, cooperation, and relationship with other employees, leads, supervisors and managers. Adhere to safety policies and procedures as included in the employee handbook. Hold weekly safety huddles with direct team and conduct ongoing training to ensure safety for self and fellow employees. Ensure unsafe behavior is immediately addressed and corrected in the workplace. Follow all applicable instructions relative to food safety and the SQF Food Safety Management System, including Employee GMP's Qualification Education Experience: Two year Associates degree or higher required business or industry preferred Two+ years of proven success leading a team in a manufacturing setting Leadership experience with the ability to also work as a team Ability to perform moderately complex problem analysis & Mechanical aptitude Solid working knowledge of production processes and related manufacturing Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams and Outlook. Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information. Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
