Requirements: PRIMARY OBJECTIVE/QUALIFICATIONS OF THE POSITION: Performs a full range of rough grinding, polishing, and metal finishing operations on components, manufactured parts, and assemblies in accordance with prescribed specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Follow all safe work practices and OSHA requirements. Grind, file, sand, polish, and blend metal surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and finishing techniques. Examine and feel metal surfaces to detect defects such as dents, scratches, or material imperfections. Set up and operate straight-line sanders, buffers, Timesavers, and hand-held grinders and polishers. Select proper abrasives and finishing methods to achieve specified finishes efficiently and consistently. Read, understand, and apply blueprints, customer requirements, and written or verbal work instructions. Complete projects within established timeframes while meeting or exceeding quality standards. Monitor and maintain quality of finished goods throughout the process. Use profilometers and other measuring tools to verify surface finish requirements. Stage work and operate equipment independently as skill level allows. Develop, improve, and standardize finishing processes and techniques while maintaining high quality standards. Contribute to continuous improvement, cost-saving initiatives, and quality enhancements. Train, mentor, and support other finishers as experience level allows. Work effectively in a team environment and maintain positive working relationships. Understand and follow all company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Prepare accurate cost estimates for fabricated metal components and assemblies by gathering information, analyzing critical metrics, and performing risk assessments. This role requires fluency in manufacturing processes, strong knowledge of bills of material and routings for metal products, and experience with ERP estimating systems. The Estimator works closely with internal teams, vendors, and customers to support successful project execution. Bachelor's or Associate degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Working knowledge to proficient GD&T. welding symbols, and AWS/ASME welding codes. Understand parts, projects, and customer requirements. Determine key variables for labor, material, and process costs. Research and analyze manufacturing methods, production times, and materials. Gather, review, and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes. Perform risk analysis and identify cost drivers. PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION: Project Manager will be a critical member of the Project Management team and possess solid project management knowledge, experience, and skills to manage, lead and direct one or more projects from initiation to successful on time completion. Accomplish this by planning, monitoring, and coordinating the job flow within and between each of the manufacturing departments, consistent with customer expectations and Anderson & Dahlen goals, budget, and customer satisfaction objectives. Work with Sales, Engineering, Procurement and Operations to identify potential risks early and develop mitigation actions. MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY: Plans and manages project execution and scope from up front quoting and design engineering through downstream manufacturing and delivery activities, including onsite installation in some cases. Leads project kick off meeting to review Scope develop the project timeline, documents assumptions and requirements, and define labor resources needed to meet customer due date/delivery schedules. Works with engineering, operations and purchasing to acquire all necessary material/equipment and define sub-contractors, as needed. Identifies workload and critical path; identifies bottlenecks and assures all parties are aware of potential impact to project schedule and on-time delivery work with project team and management to identify mitigation plan(s) ensure delivery (On Time delivery). Collaborates with logistics on shipping packaging requirements, arrival times, and required carriers to meet customer expectations. Works with CAD Designers, Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers; to clearly communicate with personnel in an appropriate manner. Manage Customer communications by clearly defining project scope, responsibilities (such as drawing approvals), change orders, status updates, FAT and SAT coordination.
