Salary Range 38k-42k per year The Opportunity: We have immediate openings for results-oriented individuals to join our team as a Sign Layout Designer. The Sign Layout Designer operates as a valuable contributor within our Design Department. Identiti’s Design Department creates full concept sign packages for some of the world's most valuable brands while maintaining an exciting employee driven company culture. As a Sign Layout Designer, you will help bring National brand’s storefronts to life, working on all aspects of their signage needs. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively with internal stakeholders across multiple departments and possess the ability to deliver assignments with a high level of excellence. Our Company: Co-founded by Larry Sicher in 1991 as a local sign and service agent, Identiti has been focused on excellence in customer service and communication since its inception. Now led by brothers Michael and Zack Sicher, the company has grown to become a national provider of exterior and interior signage, graphics, and maintenance services, with 2800+ employees and installation and service partners. The comprehensive offerings include Design, Project Management and Manufacturing for signage and branded environment programs across multiple industries. Identiti offerings also include a full range of Maintenance services including preventive and planned Maintenance Programs. Responsibilities: Develop multiple design samples for clients, using photos and customer established branding Utilize basic math skills to calculate and properly scale logos onto survey photos and multipage PDF layouts Prioritize and manage design process to meet deadlines within daily goals Knowledge and experience of page layout, template utilization, and photo manipulation Assist in the development of graphics and layouts for sales and marketing presentations (occasionally) Utilize effective communication to develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders across all departments and team members within the organization Sign Layout Designer Requirements: Four-year degree from an accredited university (Preferred) Associate degree or two years of experience in design or a similar role Proficiency utilizing Adobe Creative Suite with a high concentration in Illustrator Highly organized and able to work under daily goals Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills Able to work both independently and as part of a team Proficiency utilizing email and internet Experience in the Signage Industry. (Specifically internally illuminated exterior buidling signage) Live near Schaumburg, IL Highly Desired Skills (Not Required) Knowledge of CadTools Illustrator Plugin Experience working with scaled artwork for production Company Benefits ( Including but not limited to) : Family health coverage including medical, dental and vision Telecommuting/remote days 401K Generous time off program On-site fitness center

Job Summary: The Design Engineer is ultimately responsible for the research, development and design of product according to project requirements. The Design Engineer develops submittals, layouts, schematics and shop details as part of a design team in accordance with project specifications, building codes and site conditions. Design Engineers develop 2D and 3D project submittals and production releases for fabrication of product. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Project Planning Project assignments are of intermediate complexity, require customization of components and design and are of low risk, and require some interaction with customers Provide conceptual design drawings and value engineering solutions to projects in the developmental design phase to assist the sales team in providing accurate and competitive pricing. Thoroughly review project specifications and scope, placing emphasis on design requirements. Conduct and review various calculations such as strength, weights, forces and stresses for material and component selection under supervision. Coordinator with project team to prepare submittal drawings for customer approval based on project specifications, scope, and engineering requirements; determine potential value engineering opportunities for project. Project Execution Work in conjunction with project strategy and schedule set forth by Project Manager Prepare measuring templates, acquire field dimensions and construct as-built 3D models and layouts to ensure design feasibility and accuracy. Prepare accurate assembly and part drawings to assure proper fabrication and installation of product using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. Assist Project Manager in completion of all specified closeout documents required by the customer including final ‘as-built’ drawings. Perform project review with thorough synopsis of project and opportunities for improved performance on future projects General Provide material take-offs and estimates and assist in project forecasting Assist Project Manager with change orders, project schedules and project evaluation Integrate educational and professional experience to optimize project efficiencies.
